You also could trade those picks if you don't have the space. Lots of options there. Additionally, if we make the 2nd round all non guaranteed then you can draft but just would have to decide prior to start of the season as to if you'll actually sign and keep the guy.

Not trying to be difficult here - what happens if you decide to keep the 2nd round pick and this takes you over the roster limit - I guess you will have to take a cap hit on another player. Is this right? Or am I missing something....

You just have to be at the roster limit by the time the season starts. How you do that is up to you.
