I think the minimum increase needs to be raised. Especially after a certain amount of time has elapsed. I agree this is getting dragged out unnecessarily with the 23rd hour sniping.

Remy, you’re breaking our balls here. I don’t mean this in a nasty or malicious way, but my dude, you’ve hosed a few people who are closing in on the 24 hour mark now.

This 0.2 point raise is garbage. I'm looking at a full point minimum raise is what we need.

This 0.2 point raise is garbage. I'm looking at a full point minimum raise is what we need. Perhaps after 6 hours, need a full point. Also I think if someone has a 3 year deal, raising bid bu going to 1 year and just offering $1M more is not enough. What player will take that much less guaranteed money? I mean this might be too late for this but in my other leagues a 2 yr deal is worth 1.2x and a 3 year 1.4x the money. So 5M at 3 years is worth 7 contract points. Just spit-balling to make things more logical and might reduce the last minute sniping for only a tiny amount of more dollars.

I'm going to disagree on the minimum points increase being an issue. I think the issue is waiting to the last minute just to restart the 24-hour clock. As we get to the end of free agency, I can see that happening because there will be fewer spots, and flexibility will be a little more fluid. But with everyone having 9-10 spots and millions of cap space, that's not an issue. And waiting until the very last minute literally does nothing to help you obtain a player. All you do by bidding in the 24th hour is piss off everyone that's ready for a new player to go on the board.
I still don't think you can change the 24-hour clock because guys have lives and live in different time zones, but we can tell when someone is just waiting to the last minute just to wait until the last minute. It's kind of an unspoken thing. Just don't be a dick, you know?

Y'all are really killing me with these late bids. I keep waiting for guys to come off to post new ones, and then we have to wait 24 more hours because someone just can't keep themselves from bidding MORE money on a rookie with a bad back that won't even play this year...

Now Leif is doing it. I'm just going to wait until 23 hours pass to make all my bids.

Approximately 1/4 of our collectively money has been been spent on 26 players....a little more than 1 player per team

I would highly discourage continual 24th hour bidding. Everyone was concerned about the minimum bid increase costing us time, but that's the real killer.
