TEAM FORUMS
Every team in the league will have their own designated forums. This area will have some requirements from the league but generally is the GM's own space for individuality.
REQUIREMENTS
Team Rosters - Your team members, players on IR, contract size and lengths, cap space, cap holds & drafts picks owned should all be clearly stated.
Team Transactions Record - As a GM you are required to keep a transaction record and present it in a clear and understandable layout. Trades, Free Agency Signings, Re-signings, Draft Picks and Waivers should all be kept track of on this with dates included.
Team Trading Block (optional) - Whether it's none of your players or all of them having a block in your Locker Room allowing other GM's to see who is available or not is really helpful to everyone.
TEAM ROSTER REQUIREMENTS
1. There will be a hard salary cap at $90,000,000. This means you can never exceed this number.
2. You must have a minimum number of 8 players on your roster by the time the season starts. You cannot go under that number at any point in the regular season.
3. The maximum number of players on your roster is 13 (including the 2 IR spots). You may not go over this limit at any point during the season.
4. Team roster limits are not in effect via Trades and Draft Picks (not Free Agent signings) during the offseason, but the hard salary cap always is in effect.
5. If a player has a team option, that must also be present in the information. We ask it looks like this:
Anthony Davis $5,000,000 (2015, 2016x)
The contract being through 2015 with 2016 as a team option.
INACTIVE RESERVE
There will be 2 IR spots for every team. You may keep 2 players on IR at all times whether they are injured or not.
When activating and deactivating players they must stay active or on the IR respectively for at least week. This is to prevent using the IR as an 11th and 12th active roster spot and for injured players and developing talent.
Keep in mind the contract will still count against your Cap space, but not your Roster space. You are basically paying for the rights to this player.
Please keep your Team Roster updated in your Team Forum with who is inactive and who is active so there is no confusion.
TEAM LINE-UPS
The Daily Line-Ups will be set up as:
G - Guard
G - Guard
F - Forward
F - Forward
F/C - Forward/Center
UTL - Utility
UTL - Utility
You will have the opportunity to update these lineups daily.
