1. Each owner will select any NBA team.
2. They will franchise 2 players on that team at their current contract. This means that if someone takes New Orleans, they will franchise Anthony Davis on his current rookie deal and not his newly signed extension. For players on rookie deals, qualifying offers do not count. If the player has a real life option (player or team), we will treat it as a team option in this league.
3. All contracts will be rounded to the nearest $100,000.
4. After teams have been selected and players franchised, there will be a 4-round expansion draft. The order of the draft will be the inverse of when teams signed up and selected their team.
5. It will be a snake draft, and owners will have 24 hours to select.
6. All players selected in this draft will retain their real life contracts.
7. Teams will not be allowed to trade expansion draft picks.
8. All other players from that team will be put into free agency.
9. Everyone will then have the ability to bid on any player who hasn't been franchised or drafted.
10. For the inaugural free agency period, the maximum number of years a team can offer is 3.
11. For the inaugural season only, t he 30 day waiting period will not apply to offseason free agency. It will still apply to in-season free agency.
