1. All trades should be posted in the Trades board.
2. Please indicate which teams are involved in the trade, who each team is giving up, and all relevant salary information. No trade can be voted on without salary information.
3. There is no limit to the number of teams allowed in a trade, but for trades with more than two teams, please specify what each team is giving up in addition to what they are receiving.
4. Trades cannot be voted on until each team publicly accepts the deal. No team may back out of a trade once they have publicly accepted it. When accepting a trade, please post why you have chosen to make said trade.
5. If cash is traded, that cash is good for one year only.
6. Teams may trade cap hits and receive no tangible assets in return. When a team trades a cap hit, they are opening up cap space. They do, technically, receive a benefit.
7. Teams may trade draft picks up to three years in advance, but no further. This is to better keep track of traded picks.
8. The trade deadline is the second to last week of the regular season. Trades open again when re-signs open.
9. It is legal to trade players up for re-signs. It is up to the parties involved to determine who will take on the re-sign.
10. Owners will vote on trades to the best of their abilities and in a timely manner. If a trade is taking longer than usual to be voted on, please notify Miege22 or Richardson239.
11. A trade is passed when 7 owners approve it. A trade is denied when 7 owners veto it.
12. Please keep trade discussions private. Do not post in another team's trade block or roster thread with an offer.
13. DO NOT make more than one trade block post. Just edit the current post.
14. Trade threads must include both team names. For example, "Seattle/Cincinnati".
